We are now scheduling flu vaccines for our patients

Wednesday, October 05, 2016

The CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics strongly recommend a flu vaccine for all children over 6 months of age. Even greater priority is recommended for children 6-36 months of age, and for those children with chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes.

Due to poor results over the last three years, the CDC is advising we not use the nasal flu vaccine this year. We will not be stocking any of the nasal flu vaccine.

Children typically tolerate the flu vaccine very well with little or no side effects.

Please call soon to get your child on our schedule.

Dr. Joy Ball Announcement

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Dr. Joy Ball has been an integral part of Elizabeth Pediatrics for almost 11 years, touching many lives along the way. This summer, Dr. Ball, her husband, and two daughters will be moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, where new and exciting challenges await. She will be with us until the end of June. Dr. Ball will be sorely missed, but we wish her all the best in this new phase of her life.

Elizabeth Pediatrics is excited to announce that Dr. Lisa Mills will join us this summer.

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Dr. Mills is a native of Pageland, SC. She graduated summa cum laude from Presbyterian College and was class valedictorian. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating with honors in 2006. She completed her 3 year pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. For the last 7 years Dr. Mills has been an inpatient hospitalist at the Hemby Childrens Hospital at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

We are excited to have Dr. Mills join our practice and she looks forward to meeting our many families.
