Healthy Children
An American Academy of Pediatrics website with resources on a variety of child health and parenting matters.

American Academy of Pediatrics
The main site of the American Academy of Pediatrics. There is general information related to child health, as well as policy statements from the AAP.

Learn the Signs. Act Early
This is an excellent CDC site with information regarding your child’s developmental milestones.

Vaccine Education Center
A well respected site sponsored by The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia launched in 2000. This site provides accurate, comprehensive, and up to date information about childhood vaccines and the diseases they prevent.

Immunization Action Coalition
Another excellent site for vaccine information. The IAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information about vaccines. There is a section for health professionals as well as the general public.

KidsHealth.org
This is a site sponsored by Nemours, one of the largest nonprofit organizations devoted to children’s health. The site includes sections specifically for parents, for kids, for teenagers, and also for educators.

Girlshealth.gov
This site was created in 2002 by the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health. It is designed to help girls ages 10-16 learn about health, growing up, and issues they may face.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
The CDC site addresses a vast array of health and safety related topics. It is also an excellent source of information for foreign travel.

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)
This non-profit national organization has an extensive website with information and resources about ADHD.
