History of Elizabeth Pediatrics
Drs. Eichenbrenner and Holladay completed their pediatric residencies at Charlotte Memorial Hospital (now Carolinas Medical Center) in 1982 and 1983, respectively. Dr. Eichenbrenner founded his own solo practice in 1982. Dr. Holladay joined the practice of Dr. Elliott White in 1983. Dr. White would later retire and leave Dr. Holladay in solo practice.
In 1996, the two physicians joined Novant Health and merged their practices to form Drs. Eichenbrenner and Holladay, located in the original section of Eastover Medical Park. In 2001, Dr. Laura Taylor Pridemore completed her residency and joined the practice. It was then that Novant Health Elizabeth Pediatrics became our permanent name as our office location is on the edge of Charlotte's historic Elizabeth community.
The practice grew with the addition of Dr. Joy Ball and in 2005 moved to the current location, still in Eastover Medical Park. Dr. Shelia Ankrah joined the practice in 2007.
There have been changes in the last few years with the addition of Drs. Jennifer Squires and Lisa Mills. In 2016, Dr. Ball relocated with her family to Arizona. In 2017, after 35 years of practice, Dr. Eichenbrenner retired and Dr. David Milbourn joined the practice.
Novant Health Elizabeth Pediatrics continues treating patients from many Charlotte neighborhoods as well as other nearby cities and now has several hundred second generation patients.
